How to Turn on 2–Step Verification for Your Google Account Step By Step and Secure Your Account With 2-Step Verification | Nothing is Impossible TecH

Introduction:

          Hello friends, in this tutorial I’ll show you How to turn on 2–Step Verification for Your Google Account.  In this method when someone or you trying to sign in to your Google account after you entering password Google will send OTP (One Time Password) SMS (Simple Message Service) to that Google account registered mobile number then you can put that 6 digits OTP in Google asking for OTP. Now you are signed in successfully. 2-Step verification secures your account like Guard.

Agenda:

          To turn on the 2-step verification for Google account

Requirements:

1.           Your Google account registered mobile
2.           Internet connectivity
3.           Any device (Android, laptop, Pc,) with any browser likes chrome, firebox, Opera, etc.

 Procedure:

[ Step 1 ] :

 Open your browser and search for ‘Google account’ and select second link in results (or) go directly to www.account.google.com

[ Step 2 ] :  

                   If you aren’t signed in yet, first sign in with your Gmail id and password.

[ Step 3 ] :  

                   Then scroll horizontally and select Security tab. (if you not understand see my video tutorial given below)

 [ Step 4 ] :  

                   In this Security tab, scroll down and click on ‘2-Step Verification’.

[ Step 5 ] :  

                   Then click on ‘GET STARTED’ in right lower corner. Then enter your password and click ‘Next’

[ Step 6 ] :  

                   Then click on ‘TRY IT NOW’ and then click on ‘YES’ to authenticate your device.

[ Step 7 ] :  

                   Now you want to enter your mobile number which mobile number you want to receive SMS from Google and select OTP receiving method Call or SMS and then click on ‘SEND’.    

[ Step 8 ] :  

                   Then you will receive 6 digits OTP via SMS, copy that 6 digits code and paste it in the text box and click on ‘NEXT’.

[ Step 9 ] :  

                   Now simply click on ‘TURN ON’, now successfully 2-step verification activated in your Google account.

[ Step 10 (To Turn Off)] :  

                   If you want to turn off that option follow the same steps and finally click on ‘TURN OFF’ option.
